Your Messages: where every text lives

Tap Conversations in the bottom menu (the speech-bubble icon, second from the left). Every text, lead, and review reply lands here. This is really the only screen you need day to day.

  • Where it is: the bottom menu, the speech-bubble icon. That is your inbox.
  • The bell at the top is just alerts, not your messages.
  • When a customer replies, it shows up right here so you can answer.

Start a new text

On the Conversations screen, tap the + button (bottom right, marked in green above), then choose New Message. Type the person's number or pick a contact and text them like normal. Everything you send shows your business number, and their reply comes right back to this same inbox.

From the app home screen you can Make a Call or start a New Message in one tap.

Your calls and your new number

You have a new business number. Here is exactly how it works so nothing is confusing.

Your phone rings like always

The new number just points to your normal cell. When someone calls it, your phone rings like today. You answer normally. No second phone. If you miss the call, the system texts that person back for you so you do not lose them.

The app dialer screen

Two ways to call a customer, both work:

  • Your normal phone. Easiest, works like always. The customer sees your personal number.
  • The app dialer (shown here). The customer sees your business number and the call is logged. Optional, most people just use their normal phone.

But give out the NEW business number everywhere (Google, business cards, a truck magnet, yard signs, your social). Here is why it matters:

The missed-call text-back only works when a customer calls your new business number. If they call your old personal number, the system cannot see the missed call, so no auto-text goes out. Put the new number everywhere so the system is working for you.

Your other tools live in "Apps"

Tap Apps (bottom right of the menu) to find your Dialer, Contacts, and Notifications all in one place.

Add a customer

Two easy ways to add someone to your contacts:

The New Contact form

By hand: type their name and number.

The scan business card screen

Scan a business card: point your camera and it fills in the details.

Change your language

Want the app in Spanish or English? Tap the gear (top right), then Language, and pick the one you want.

What to leave alone (we've got it)

A few things are built to run on their own. If you want a change, just text us and we do it, so nothing breaks.

  • Your website: it has custom code tuned for Google. Want a change? Text us, we keep it fast and ranking.
  • The automations: leave these to us. They are what send your reviews and text-backs.
  • "Inbound Call Settings" in the app: that is a setting for big agencies with many accounts. Leave it on "Active Sub-account" and ignore it.
