Why Reviews Matter

Reviews are your online reputation. Here's the reality:

97%

of people read reviews before contacting a business

94%

say ONE bad review is enough to try someone else

#1

factor Google uses to rank local businesses

The bottom line: More 5-star reviews = higher Google ranking = more people finding you = more calls = more money.

The 5-Star Review System

Here's how the system protects your reputation while building it up:

This diagram shows how the review system works. Happy customers go to Google. Unhappy customers go to a private form — so you can fix things before they go public.

How It Works

Happy Customers (4-5 stars)

They're taken directly to Google to leave a public review. These reviews show up on your Google Business Profile for everyone to see.

Unhappy Customers (1-3 stars)

They're shown a private feedback form instead. Their complaint comes to your phone as a text message — NOT to Google. You can fix the issue before it becomes public.

This is Private Feedback First. Every business gets occasional unhappy customers. With this system, you hear their feedback privately and can address it — instead of waking up to a 1-star review on Google.

How to Get Reviews

After every happy customer, add them through the Marketing Form on your My Links page. The system automatically sends review requests, follows up with reminders over 4 weeks, and adds them to a 1-year referral sequence.

How to Add a Customer

Two ways to get to the form:

Option A: My Links Page

  1. Go to yoursite.com/my-links
  2. Tap Request a Review
  3. Enter customer name + phone
  4. Hit Send

You can also tap Copy Link to save it.

Option B: Direct Link

  1. Go to yoursite.com/marketing-form
  2. Enter customer name + phone
  3. Hit Send

Bookmark this for one-tap access.

Goal: 70+ Google reviews in 6-8 months. Add EVERY happy customer and you'll get there.

Automatic Review Posting

Here's a bonus feature that runs automatically:

Social Planner

Twice a week, the system takes your best Google reviews and posts them as "Google Posts" on your business profile.

What this does for you:

  • Shows off your 5-star reviews — right on your Google listing
  • Keeps your profile active — Google rewards businesses that post regularly
  • Builds social proof — potential customers see your reviews before they even click
  • Zero work from you — it's fully automated

Think of it like this: Your best reviews become mini-advertisements on Google, automatically posted twice a week, for free.

AI Review Responses

When customers leave 4-5 star reviews, our AI automatically responds for you:

  • Professional tone — sounds like you, but polished
  • Personalized — references what the customer said
  • Fast — responds within hours, not days
  • Grateful — thanks them for their business

You don't have to do anything. Reviews come in, responses go out. Your profile looks active and professional.

If a Customer Doesn't Want Reviews

If a customer texts "no reviews" back after getting a review request, the system stops sending them review reminders automatically. They'll still get your referral offers over the year, just no more review asks.

Note: "No reviews" only stops review messages. If a customer texts "STOP" instead, that stops ALL texts from your number — reviews and everything else. Two different things.

Tips for More Reviews

Want to stack up reviews faster? Here are some tips:

  • Ask right after the job — when they're happiest
  • Text the link, don't just mention it — "I'll send you a link" then actually send it
  • Every customer — not just the ones who seem enthusiastic
  • Follow up if they didn't — the system does this automatically
Pro tip: Right after you finish a job, while you're still on site, open your My Links page and tap Request Reviews. Takes 10 seconds. Make it a habit.
