5 The customers who already paid you: year two lives in your phone

Chapter 3 is for starting. This one is for keeping it going: the people who already know you and already paid you.

What you do
Send in your list of old customers so the system asks them for a review, and put every new customer through your form when you finish the job. Those people are next year's work.
What it brings
59 out of 100 owners say referrals and repeat customers are their best source of work. More than Google. Nobody is cheaper to win than somebody who already paid you once.Source: Jobber 2026, survey of 1,050 owners
Time it takes
One hour, one time, for the list. After that, 30 seconds per job on the form.
Today
If you have not sent your list of happy customers yet, open the link we gave you and pick them on your phone. If you already sent it, put your last job through your form.

Upload your old customer list to the system

Name and phone for every person you did a job for who was happy. You pick them on your phone with the link we sent you before launch (if you do not have it, ask us). Our team checks the list and starts your review campaign: they get asked for the review you never asked for, with your name on it. You touch nothing.

NEW customers are different: every job you finish goes through your marketing form (30 seconds, it is on your links page). That customer goes straight into the review ask and the one year referral chain.

The seasonal reminder, for your trade

Every trade has a date when the house needs you again: gutters and roofs before the rains, HVAC before the heat, exterior paint before the cold, landscaping in spring. The system sends this text to your customers from a year ago, the month before. You do not send it:

What our text saysHi [Name], it's [your name], the [your trade] guy. I did [the job] for you last year. [Season] is coming and I'll be in your area next week. If you'd like a free check, tell me which day works.
What our text says, in SpanishHola [Nombre], soy [tu nombre], el de [tu oficio]. Le hice [el trabajo] el año pasado. Se acerca [la temporada] y ando por su zona la semana que viene. Si quiere que le dé una revisada sin costo, dígame qué día le queda.

The job anniversary

Twelve months after you finish, the system sends a three line text: "how is [the job] holding up? Any detail, just tell me". It does not sell anything and that is why it works: the person who answers "all good" is the same one who sends you the neighbor the next week.

Careful with mass texts. A promotional text to a customer list has rules in the United States: written consent, only 8 am to 9 pm in their time, opt out by any method and a number registered with the carriers (since 2025 they block 100% of what is not registered). One text from you, to one person, from your phone, is fine. A whole list is not. The system sends those, and it already meets all of the above.
S
What your system already does: the review campaign to your old customers (with your checked list), and for every new customer you add through the form, the review ask and the one year referral chain, by itself, with consent, timing and opt out handled. Your two jobs are these: upload your list of happy customers one time, and put every new customer through your form. The system sends the texts, never you.
